As you are aware, from April 6th 2009,
government legislation now requires every marketed residential property to have a HIP containing an EPC in place before a property can be marketed for sale.
This means that ALL residential properties will need to obtain a HIP before they can be sold. We know this is what you do, but Lamb Home Inspectors may still be of help to you.
How we can help you
|
Even though you are a HIP Provider, we could still be of interest to you. We’ve already got a handle on the latest government legislation and our team of DEAs can provide EPCs within 24 hours of appointment. With us as your designated EPC provider, you’ll be guaranteed an efficient and effective service. |
- Have you got a back up plan?
|
So, you’re a qualified HIP provider and you’re able to award EPCs. Sounds great but are you able to meet the demand? With demand only set to increase, due to the expected introduction of EPCs and/or HIPs for new build properties from April 2008, residential lettings from October 2008, and commercial properties also being phased in from October 2008. DEAs will be in short supply so will you be able to meet the needs of your valuable clients? This is where we can help. Lamb Home Inspectors Ltd can act as an emergency back up HIP and EPCProvider, providing HIPs and EPCs at the drop of a hat, allowing you to always deliver to clients on time without having to turn any business away. |
- DO NOT rule out the importance of HCRs
|
Lamb Home Inspectors are fully qualified to provide these too. Your client should remember the extra cost for the HCR is far outweighed by its REAL value to the property buyer. |
